The Victim Support Program, Project Paramarsh, developed by Dr. Reena Sharma under the guidance of Shri. A.K. Singh, Former DG NSG and Commissioner of Ahmedabad City focuses on centralising victims' needs in crime response and community problem-solving. It introduces Victim Support Units with trained police and support staff, emphasizing free services, confidentiality, and holistic support. This initiative underscores the importance of specialized training and inter-departmental collaboration to improve the effectiveness and sensitivity towards crime victims, aiming to enhance their overall support experience and recovery process.
